Ø  Rosalind and Celia reached the forest of Arden but they found no food or inn or accommodation. Rosalind in the disguise of Ganymede who decided to cheer up Celia, aka Aliena wished that she would cry out of hunger and fatigue. When Aliena said that she could walk no more, Rosalind tried to do something for her but they were afraid of getting lost in the forest. Just then they meet a countryman and asked for help in exchange for money. From the man, they came to know that his master, who was a shepherd was going to sell off his house. Getting the information, the two sisters followed the man, and brought the house and the sheep and also took the man to wait on them. Thus they decided to stay in the forest till they found the part of the forest where banished duke stayed with his followers.

2.       Describe the meeting between Orlando and Oliver in the forest of Arden.

Ø  One Morning, when Orlando was going to meet Ganymede, he saw a man lying asleep on the ground of the forest. A snake had twisted round his neck. As Orlando reached the man, the snake glided away from the man. At the same time, Orlando perceived that a lioness in the bush was waiting for its prey. No sooner had he looked at the face of the man than he found that the man was his own brother, Oliver. He remembered the ill-treatment of his brother and was about to go away. But his brotherly affection prevented him to leave his brother in danger. He fought the lioness to save his brother.  When Orlando was engaged in fighting, Oliver realised his mistake and was full of remorse for his past behaviour. He begged his mercy. Seeing his brother repenting, Orlando readily forgave him and took him in his arm.
